Autism Initiatives is the largest voluntary sector provider of direct support services to children and adults with Autism in Northern Ireland. We were established in Northern Ireland in 2002 and have expanded rapidly. We now provide services to over 200 families and employ almost 250 staff. Our reputation as a flexible provider of high quality services has been instrumental in supporting this growth.

Autism NI seeks to ensure that people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their carers have access to appropriate services, enabling people with Autism to become valued members of the community.  The main areas of our work are: family support, information and advice, branch support, training, awareness raising, helpline, resource centre, political lobbying, research, policy change and strategic planning.

The LITE Project (Living Independently Thru Empowerment) is a Floating Support project which operates in Armagh and Dungannon, as well as North Down and Ards. The Project works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless, leaving care, or experiencing difficulties in relation to their tenancies.
