Subject Matter:

Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider
Assessing an emergency situation
Providing first aid to an infant and child who is unresponsive and breathing normally
Providing first aid to an infant and child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally
Providing first aid to an infant and child who has a foreign body airway obstruction
Providing first aid to an infant and child with an external bleed
Providing first aid to an infant and child who is suffering from shock
Providing first aid to an infant and child who is suffering with anaphylaxis
This workshop will increase participants awareness of the ethical (consent, confidentiality, service users access, etc) complexity of information management and of responsibilities under data protection legislation. It will also improve their skills and knowledge in recording and reporting.

This training is free to attend, however there is a £10 charge for course materials and certificate. This will be payable when you receive confirmation of a place on the course.
