We are the Secretariat to the All Party Group on Children and Young People. The Group provides a forum to enable cross party discussion and co-operation on issues affecting children and young people.

PURPOSE
& MISSION

Raise the profile of children’s issues and to work with the children’s sector to facilitate better coordination on children’s issues inside and outside government.

STRATEGY

To provide a forum to facilitate and enable cross party discussion and co-operation on children and young people’s issues.
To raise the profile of the children and young people’s issues within the Assembly and the Executive.
To secure and maintain a priority focus on children and young people’s issues in the Programme for Government.
