In this training, participants will learn more about the connection between behaviours and emotions in preschool children. We will explore behaviours within both a child development and safeguarding context. Participants will gain a greater understanding on how best to support both parent and child to manage emotions, behaviours and expectations.
Who is it for: those supporting families who have children aged 5 years and under.
This workshop will:
- Understand the connection between emotions and behaviors in preschool children
- Practical strategies to support emotions and behaviors in a child orientated way
- Explore strategies to support parents who have young children
Important Information
- Our funding restrictions are such that this training is only available to those who work/volunteer for a voluntary, charitable, faith or community-based organisation. Please ensure you meet this criteria before applying.
- CiNI is located in the 40 Montgomery Rd business park. Please enter the stairwell by Podium for Sport and go to the 1st floor. We have free parking. Metro 6 (Cregagh Rd – Bells Bridge stop after the large roundabout).
- Lunch will not be provided. You can bring your own lunch or order from Cafe EJ (below CiNI).
- Due to the high demand for this training we can only offer a maximum of 2 places per organisation. Please do not apply for more than 2 places.
- Registration is at 9.50am for a 10am course start.
