Parenting Week 2025 will run from Monday 20 to Friday 24 October, with Parentline taking the lead on this year’s campaign.

The theme

This year’s theme is “Parent Well”, focusing both on how we can support parents to parent well, and on the importance of self-care for parents themselves.

What is Parenting Week?

Parenting Week is a dedicated time to celebrate, support, and raise awareness of the vital role that parents and caregivers play in shaping children’s lives, families, and communities. Throughout the week, we will:

  • highlight the challenges parents face
  • amplify their voices
  • promote access to support, advice, and resources that strengthen families and communities

Parenting Week is a chance to uplift parents and create lasting impact – improving child wellbeing, reducing inequality, and building stronger communities. It highlights the importance of prevention, early intervention, and the power of family support.

How you can get involved

We would love to highlight the fantastic work your organisation is doing.

Events and activities:

If you are planning any events, activities, or campaigns during Parenting Week, please let us know so we can feature them on our website and help signpost parents to what’s happening locally.

Please share your Parenting Week activities with us by completing this form by Friday 3 October.

Spread the Word

Even if your organisation isn’t hosting activities, you can still play an important role in promoting Parenting Week. We’ll soon have downloadable social media assets available for you to share and help raise awareness.
