Parentline Podcast recognised at the 2024 British Podcast Awards, winning Bronze in the Parenting Category
On September 26th, 2024, we attended the British Podcast Awards, held in London. To use their words; ‘the Podcast industry is booming, functioning not only as a platform for creative expression but also as a commercial channel. The British Podcast Awards champions the people both in front of and behind the microphone.’
We were extremely excited to attend, as our Parentline NI podcast was shortlisted for Best Parenting Podcast, and we were in good company in our category, which included BBC’s ‘Child’, ‘Dadvengers’ with Nigel Clarke, ‘Made by Mammas’, ‘Motherkind’, ‘Tiny Huge Decisions’ and ‘Origin Stories’.
The British Podcast Awards were delivered in partnership with Campaign, the advertising industry’s leading trade publication, and aimed to shine a light on the very best the world of podcasting has to offer across a wide range of topics and formats.

BBC’s Child won gold, and Tiny Huge Decisions won Silver, and the Bronze award went to us! We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised at this prestigious awards ceremony, which included podcast giants from across the UK.
We were so excited to be even shortlisted, let alone win an award. We were one of very few shortlisted podcasts from Northern Ireland and many of those shortlisted were produced by large budget production companies and media networks. We are so proud of our podcast and we’re delighted that it has been recognised at this level.
