Southern Area Locality Planning Groups Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Resource for Children and Young People

Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Resource for Children and Young People

We would like to make all of those working with children and young people in the Southern Trust Area aware of the Southern Area Locality Planning Groups Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Resource for Children and Young People, a resource produced by the CYPSP Southern Area Locality Planning Groups providing information on local programmes and services for children and young people which will benefit their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

Between September 2019 and June 2020 organisations based in the Southern Trust Area were asked to send through information (including contact details and referral criteria) for inclusion in this resource, providing details of their service or programmes which had a very clear focus on emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and/or young people.

Parent support was also included, as the age remit for children and young people is from ante natal to 18, and 25 for young adults with a disability/additional needs.

We appreciate that services and programmes do evolve and so would remind you that this resource is subject to change. Moreover, due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we strongly encourage contact with services or programmes to obtain updated information directly from the service.
