In this training, participants will learn more about the connection between behaviours and emotions in preschool children. We will explore behaviours within both a child development and safeguarding context. Participants will gain a greater understanding on how best to support both parent and child to manage emotions, behaviours and expectations.

Who is it for: those supporting families who have children aged 5 years and under.

This workshop will:

  • Explore the connection between emotions and behaviors in preschool children
  • Provide practical strategies to support emotions and behaviors in a child orientated way
  • Explore strategies to support parents who have young children

Important Information

  • Our funding restrictions are such that this training is only available to those who work/volunteer for a voluntary, charitable, faith or community-based organisation. Please ensure you meet this criteria before applying.
  • While this is a free training event and places are limited and in high demand – if you cannot attend we urge you to get in contact so another can take up your place.  
  • Due to the high demand for this training we can only offer a maximum of 2 places per organisation. Please do not apply for more than 2 places.
