About the Trainer:
Roger Gowdy is highly experienced in all things podcasting and audio/visual production. Starting his training in the world leading Sonic Arts Research Centre in Belfast, Roger completed his Masters in 2005, and since then has been producing audio visual content for organisations all over the world.
Roger is a judge for the Irish Podcast Awards and has launched, hosted and edited multiple podcasts with particular focus on the not-for-profit sector, so is ideally placed to help guide organisations as they start their journey into podcasting.
‘I’ve worked in media and broadcasting for more than 25 years and over the last few years working with Roger I’ve learnt so much about podcasting. Not only has he walked me through so many aspects, technical and theory, and taught me at a speed I found easy to follow, he’s done it all with great empathy and a great big barrel full of giggles along the way. I’ve loved every second!
