What does Parent Well at Work include?
Parenting and work are both important parts of life, but balancing the demands of each can sometimes be challenging. When employees are navigating family pressures alongside their working responsibilities, having the right support can make a real difference.
Parent Well at Work is a workplace parenting support programme from Children in Northern Ireland (CiNI), designed to help employees manage the challenges of family life while supporting their wellbeing and performance at work.
Through practical parent wellbeing workshops, access to a parenting resource hub and regular wellbeing updates, we help organisations create a more supportive environment for employees who are parents and carers.
By investing in family wellbeing, your organisation can help employees feel supported, build confidence in their parenting role and contribute to a more engaged and resilient workforce.
Support your employees at work and at home with Parent Well at Work.

Why support parents in the workplace?
For many employees, work is just one part of a busy life. Parenting can bring a range of challenges, from managing the school run and supporting children’s emotional wellbeing to navigating adolescence, family changes and the pressures of everyday life.
When these challenges become difficult to manage, employees may find it harder to maintain a healthy balance between work and home.
Workplace parenting support recognises that employees have lives and responsibilities beyond the workplace. By providing practical advice, opportunities to learn and access to ongoing resources, employers can show that they value the wellbeing of their staff and their families.
Parent Well at Work gives organisations a practical way to invest in employee wellbeing while helping parents and carers feel more supported in their family lives.

Access to the Parent Well at Work Resource Hub
The hub includes bite-sized Go Tos, parenting blogs and podcasts, organised by topic so employees can find relevant information when they need it.

Quarterly wellbeing
updates
updates
Our quarterly wellbeing updates help keep parenting and family wellbeing on the agenda throughout the year, sharing useful information and resources that employees can explore.

A programme designed
around family life
Parent Well at Work recognises that every family is different. Parenting needs and challenges can change as children grow, and there is no single approach that works for every family.
Our programme brings together practical workshops and accessible resources to help parents and carers explore different approaches, build understanding and feel better equipped to navigate family life.
The programme can support employees at different stages of their parenting journey, whether they are raising young children, supporting teenagers or navigating changes in family circumstances.
