In person Baby Yoga Instructor Training Northern Ireland

CINI (Children In Northern Ireland) are delighted to partner with Settled Petals to offer in person Baby Yoga Instructor Training in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

About this course:

This course allows participants to become a Certified Baby Yoga Instructor on completion of the course, and written assessments.

The course is accredited by FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Educators), allowing graduates to join their public facing register on completion (optional).

The course prepares participants to become Baby Yoga Instructors, facilitating Baby Yoga classes both in a group or 1:1 basis.

The course covers instruction on:

 Parent Calm: Including breathing exercises and mindfulness. The focus is on providing parents and caregivers with the tools to support their own emotional wellbeing

  • Parent Stretch: This includes gentle movement for parent and caregivers to support their physical wellbeing
  • Baby Warm Up:  This is a cue to allow babies to transition to class. It includes some gentle massage and focuses on permission and touch
  • Parent and Baby Regulation: Specific activities to promote bonding and regulation between parent and baby
  • Baby Moves:  Specifically developed to promote infant development, including activities which may strengthen the core, promote sleep, help with constipation and promote the development of co-ordination
  • Cool Down: A transitional time for parents, caregivers and infants which focuses on individual needs and relaxation.

When will the in person Baby Yoga Instructor Training Northern Ireland take place?
The in person Baby Yoga Instructor Training will run over 2 days – Thursday 1st of October & Friday 2nd of October. 10am – 4pm each day.

Where will the Baby Yoga Instructor Training Belfast take place?
The in person Baby Yoga Instructor Course will take place in CINI office, 40 Montgomery Road, Belfast.

What does it cost to become a Baby Yoga Instructor Northern Ireland?
This Direct Baby Yoga Instructor Training Course costs £485 per person (£430 for CINI members). Or £750 when taken with the Baby Massage Instructor Course (£675 for CINI members).
Refunds are not possible once payment has been made

Do I have to complete an assessment to become a Baby Yoga Instructor?
Yes, the Baby Yoga Instructor course includes a practical and written assessment. The practical assessment can be signed off during the in person training. The written element is due 8 weeks after the course. All the information you need to complete both elements of the assessment are included.

Do I obtain written material as part of the Baby Yoga Instructor Course?
Yes, in addition to the direct training, you obtain full, ongoing access to the Online Baby Yoga Resource. This contains lots of evidence based practice, as well as videos which you can refer back to at any time to refresh your knowledge.

What do I need to bring to the Baby Yoga Instructor Training Belfast?
A doll, preferably weighted Baby Massage Doll should be brought to the Baby Yoga Instructor training
